How much is your tuition?
 
For the 2023-2024 SY, the tuition for all classrooms is $2,525/month
 
Does SFF offer sibling discounts?
 
SFF does not offer sibling discounts. We believe our tuition rates are comparable to the market rate.
 
 
What are the hours of operation?
 
The current hours of operation are 8:15 am to 5:45 pm Monday through Friday.
 
Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
 
Drop off and pick up take place at designated locations, and teachers greet and dismiss children at these two locations.
 
 
 Is there designated parking for drop off and pick up?
 
There is a parking lot that you can park for 15 minutes maximum for drop off and pick up. There is no street parking. During the pandemic, families will drop off and pick up children at designated times as “carpool”.
 
 
What is the child-teacher ratio in the classrooms?
Toddlers (12 months to 2 1/2 year old) 4:1 Preschoolers (2 1/2 to 5 year old) 6:1 Our largest group is 13 children with two teachers.
 
 
Do you provide food?
 
We provide morning and afternoon snacks. We offer rice milk and plenty of water, no juice. Families bring lunch from home.
 
 
Does the School staff administer medication?
 
Medicine is administered only with consent. There is a form that families need to fill out and sign. Medication cannot be stored in the cubbies or in the lunch box and it must be given to the teacher along with the form. We treat OTC medicine as prescription medication which also requires written consent and approval from the child’s pediatrician. Please see the parent handbook for more details.

 

 
 
Is there a nap time?
 
Yes. All ages are encouraged to rest between 1 pm and 3 pm every day. Older children may wake up earlier or may not nap but lie down to rest. Children who do not want to sleep may have quiet activities. “
 

Do you offer care for infants?

Our program is for children 12 months of age through pre-kindergarten. Some children even come back for the summer after kindergarten.

What are the steps for application?

First review the information on the website and either call the school for an Open House/tour and/or apply online. Decisions are made in March for the new school year starting in September.

Do you keep a waiting list? How hard is it to get in? How do you decide who gets in?

We do keep a waiting list; however admission is not by first-come-first-served. Most of our admissions occur in March for a September start. See the section “Admissions, How to apply” for more information on priorities in admission. Typically we receive about four applications for each space available.

Do you have a halftime program for two or three days per week?

All our programs are five days per week. However, some parents opt to send their children only four days per week. Tuition for the whole week is still due.
