Directions to School for Friends

(The address of the church is 2201 P Street; however it is best thought of as being on 22nd St between P and Q. Our parking lot is entered from 22nd St at the Q St end of the church. This entrance to the parking lot is across the street from the Bier Baron, formerly known as the Brickskeller Inn.)

• Traveling South on Connecticut Ave., turn right onto Florida Avenue and proceed past Massachusetts Ave. to Q. After the first light at Q Street, immediately turn right into the parking lot.
• Traveling South on Massachusetts Ave., after Sheridan Circle, turn right onto 22nd St. After the first light at Q Street, immediately turn right into the parking lot.
• From Points South, proceed north on 22nd St. After you go through the light at P St., turn left (there is a cut-through in the median) into our parking lot.

To locate the school in the building, go behind the education wing and enter the playground. Ours is entry #8, the only entrance to the building from the playground.  Ring the doorbell on the right door frame for entrance.

Directions from Metro: From the Dupont Circle stop on the Metro Red Line, exit at the Q Street end of the station. You are at the intersection of Q Street, 20th Street, and Connecticut Avenue. Walk west on Q Street (away from Connecticut Avenue and towards Georgetown) three blocks to 22nd and Q Streets. (You will cross over Massachusetts Avenue in the process.) At 22nd and Q, you are in front of the parking lot for the church. Enter the parking lot and walk around the back of the education wing of the church. There you will find the children’s playground. Our entrance is the only one on the playground – Entry #8.
